Centering Prayer Retreats at Desert House of Prayer

Each month there are three days set aside as Centering Prayer Retreat days. Our regular schedule is modified during these days to accommodate an instructional talk in the morning on prayer and a video presentation by a teacher of prayer (i.e., Bede Griffiths, Thomas Merton, Henri LeSaux, William Johnston) in the afternoon.

There are four sessions of centering prayer on each day, and we observe complete silence during the retreat.

Following is the list of Centering Prayer Retreats for 2008-2009. Retreats take place during the second full week of each month.
